In 2004, in the teen romance <Romance Of Their Own> based on a novel by DONG Myung, her character was the object of the affection of both KANG Dong-Won and CHO Han-Sun. That performance allowed her to be noticed from the general public and earned her the Grand Bell Award for Best New Actress. Following that success, she was regularly cast in the roles of the love interest in melodrama and romcom series and movies, notable among them <Ssunday Seoul> (2005) and <My Tutor Friend 2> (2007), although she could also be seen in the western film <The Good, The Bad, And The Weird> (2008) and LEE Joon-ki’s <My Dear Enemy> (2008).
