When President Park orders to have makgeolli(Korean rice wine) shipped to his resident from a humble country town, his head of security appoints the small town's police officer, Jingu, to protect the brewery in case spies from the North Korea gets wind of the place and poisons the drink. One day, Jingu spots a suspicious man trying get his hands on the makgeolli and catches the guy. The small-town police officer becomes famous overnight for catching the traitor of the country, but things quickly grow out of proportion as the small makgeolli theft blows up to become a national scandal much deadlier than it seemed.
