The Persistence of Memory (2015)
An exhibition film produced for the project Garibong Five-way Intersection in 2015 for the Seoul Museum of History. A female worker, who used to work for Daewoo Apparel in Guro Industrial Complex, starts to tell her stories in a calm voice. The screen projects the location of the sewing factory over her voice. This place is now transformed to the forest of buildings named ‘Guro Digital Complex.’ Where have all those female statues of exports gone?
